Whittet Higgins CNS14-16 One Piece Clampnut UNS 16 TPI Thread - Steel Take-Up Bearing 559 in Outside diameter 4The Whittet Higgins CNS14 16 is a one piece clampnut with a 16 threads per inch fine pitch thread that threads directly onto a shaft or housing to position, retain, and preload bearings and other components. A tangential (X axis) socket head clamp screw draws the nut tight against the mating shaft threads to create a mechanical self locking joint. This self locking action resists loosening from vibration, shock, and torque without damaging the shaft
